Plain top, general purpose column for analytical chromatographic separations. Glass stopcock and bottom stem are replaced by a PTFE valve and PTFE stem assembly which virtually eliminates the possibility of stem breakage. The unique valve only requires a quarter turn from fully open to closed. A coarse porosity, fritted disc is sealed in.
